Here you will find our advisory services for those affected by antisemitism and office contact details for reporting antisemitic incidents.
Antisemitism is a real threat to Jews. That's why we provide advice and support for those affected by antisemitic attacks and hostility. Our services are aimed at anyone who is affected or threatened by antisemitism in Cologne.
The NS-Documentation Centre provides individual and group psychological counselling in secure rooms. We might refer you to other services (such as anti-discrimination or legal counselling if necessary). Our advisory service can be conducted in German or Russian.
The discussions are always strictly confidential and with a guarantee of anonymity (unless requested otherwise). Our advisory service is based on the needs and wishes of those seeking advice. We always take previous (family) biographical experiences into consideration. We will advise you regardless of whether an incident is a criminal offence or not.
Our advisory services are based on the General Equal Treatment Act's standards.
Stella Shcherbatova, a member of our staff, (Tel.: 0221 221-31580; e-mail: stella.shcherbatova@stadt-koeln.de) will be pleased to help you.
Do you have knowledge of or information about an antisemitic incident in Cologne? Are you personally affected by antisemitism? Reporting the incident will make an active contribution to making antisemitism visible and combating it.
Your details will always be treated confidentially. Personal details will only be passed on with your consent. Antisemitic incidents can also be reported to us anonymously.
We contribute to a unified national tracking system. This is why we cooperate with the Federal Association of Antisemitism Research and Information Centres (RIAS e.V.). You can also report antisemitic incidents that occur outside the Cologne administrative region to them.
