The Museum Flat in Höhenberg – At home back then

Kölnisches Stadtmuseum (Cologne City Museum)

Oxblood-red floorboards, Bakelite light switches and one of the first electric ovens - a tour of Cologne on the right bank of the Rhine is a journey back in time! In the Germaniasiedlung, a historic 1920s housing estate in Höhenberg, GAG and the Cologne City Museum have faithfully restored a flat according to historical findings in order to show the living conditions of the time. Here you can gain exciting insights into work and leisure 100 years ago.

Duration: 60 minutes | Group size: max. 15 | 75 €  | 50 € | Weekend/Public holiday: plus € 10 | Multiple groups in parallel: not possible

The museum flat is not permanently accessible. Please book in good time. 

Groups of more than 15 people will be split up and guided through the Museum Flat at different times. During this time, there will be a short guided tour of the Germania estate.
