Yayoi Kusama school groups

Museum Ludwig

Yayoi Kusama is one of the most famous artists of our time. With more than three hundred works, the Museum Ludwig showcases her comprehensive oeuvre from her early days to the present. At the heart of her work are nature in its constant change and the infinity of the universe. Her iconic dot patterns, with which she covers objects and people, are just as much an expression of this world view as her infinity mirror rooms.
The exhibition traces the stages in the artist's life. These took her from rural post-war Japan to the vibrant metropolis of New York in the late 1950s. In 1973, Kusama returned to Japan, where she has lived and worked in Tokyo for decades. The tour of the exhibition is adapted to the age group of the school class.
Please note that tours can only be booked with a minimum of four weeks in advance. Admission to the museum is only possible with online tickets. You will receive the link to the tickets with your tour confirmation.
